End-User License Agreement (EULA)

1) Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Budget Buddy ("the App"), you agree to this End-User License Agreement and the related Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2) Description of the App

Budget Buddy is a personal finance management application. Financial data you enter is stored locally on your device. The App also offers optional features such as cloud backup (via your own Google Drive), social features, and AI-powered assistance.

3) User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your data.
• You must not use the App for unlawful purposes or in ways that disrupt the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the App.

4) AI Features and Third-Party Services

The App offers optional AI features (Agent chat, voice transcription, receipt recognition) that require your own API key for a supported provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini).

• Content you submit through AI features is sent directly from your device to your selected provider.
• Your use of third-party AI services is subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.
• Budget Buddy is not responsible for third-party processing once data is transmitted.
• You can disable AI features and revoke consent at any time in the App settings.

5) Subscriptions and Payments

Budget Buddy may offer optional paid subscriptions ("Pro") through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Available plans, billing period, and localized price are shown in the app before purchase.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel through your store account settings before the current billing period ends.
• Billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and account charging are managed by Apple or Google under the terms of the store you use.
• Links to the Privacy Policy and this EULA are also available inside the app's Pro subscription screen.

6) Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App (excluding user-entered data) belong to Ivan Taranov. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except where permitted by law.

7) Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Budget Buddy is not a financial advisor and does not provide financial advice.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ivan Taranov is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of the App, including financial losses.

9) Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union.
